Kohler Hybrid Energy System For Touchless Faucets

Kohler's Hybrid energy system for commercial faucets is a power solution that has been tested to last at least 30 years.

Kohler's Insight technology features a Hybrid layred capacitor that collects small electrical discharges of the battery. When the faucet is activated for use, power is drawn from the capacitor, allowing the cell to maintain it's charge.

The battery will be maintenance free for 30 years or more. The faucet saves water by only turning on when needed and off when the operator turns away and that is does not use large amounts of electricity.

This faucet is very environmentally friendly and sustainable. Kohler will accept the battery back and they will recycle it in an environmentally friendly way.
